Before I get the inevitable use the search feature, I would like to say that I have searched dozens of threads and followed countless how to's in order to try and fix this issue... having said that, my mods list is up to date. The car idled fine before the new TB. side problem I can only get up to about ten lbs of boost when I boost leak test, however I am inclined to believe it is the compressor I am using (not enough volume?) and will be trying again soon with a better compressor.

I replaced the TB with one from Steve Monroe, and also replaced the ISC and TPS. I found that when I started the car the idle was high or would idle surge depending on if the Diag and timing pins were grounded (1300-2500 max). I tested the ISC, tried the old ISC, unplugged the ISC, unplugged the TPS, tried grounding the Timing and Diagnostic pins in link, checked for boost leaks, rechecked for boost leaks, loosened the Idle switch, tightened the idle switch, tightened the throttle cable, loosened the throttle cable, took off the throttle cable, rechecked for boost leaks, used the starting fluid method to check for vacuum leaks, checked the BISS was tightened down but not broken, checked the ISC gasket, tested the TPS, tested the old TPS, Tested the TPS harness (this is the only place I found an irregularity but I doubt it is the problem unless someone has advice).

As it stands now I don't really know where else to look. I figure it could be/most likely is the FIAV and I am planning on pulling the new TB and replacing it with the old TB (hopefully this temporarily fixes the issue), and then sending it back to be repaired/checked. I also plan to send one or both sets of sensors for him to check as well. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on other stuff to check out to save him and myself some money on shipping.

The irregularity on the harness was an open(max resistance) between the 1st and 4th pin connector on the TPS harness. I am not sure what it is supposed to be but the only data I found was that it should be in the 3.5-7K ohm range. The voltage for Pin1/2 was 5v as the post I found said it should be.

Links to posts that you may think will help are appreciated as well as any advice from people who know more than I do. Thank you in advance!!! If you think a log will help I can post that as well.

The maf is logging normally and it was idling fine before I switched TBs :/

TB gasket was ok?

Both gaskets were new and went in fine. I put them with the large tab up on the left hand side of the TB as you look at it, so I am pretty sure they are not backwards etc.

Also, When I BLT, I get no leaks from there.

It was the TB. Reinstalled the old one, idle is fine.
