Hi DSM forum!

Hello I'm new to the forum and to dsm. I just traded my truck for a 91 laser and I love it so far. I'm a mechanic, but Tuner's are not my thing. I just had a few questions such as, Can you put a Garrett T25 Turbo on my car? the engine in my car is a recent new replacement 1.8L japanese cyclone engine? I have never even heard of this, but for a 4 cylinder its fast.... I also Have a 2.0 rs turbo engine for this car, but needs to be rebuilt, and i would like to install this in sometime...


... Just looking for an opinion on the Difficulty level of doing this.. Thank you.

Here are the pics of the car, sorry no engine photos yet, i will get these posted tommorrow. Any ideas?... Its fast and drives great and i have stacks of records for it, its just an ugly franken car at the moment though. I have some Ideas for it.

Hey welcome, as a newbie to tuners myself, I recommend you spend some time here browsing the forums and absorbing info about your car and engine. In time you will have a much better understanding of your car and you will reach a state of "Dsm Zen" and once this has taken place, you can begin work. rofl jk gl.

Lol.. thanks for the input ... i Just basically want this car to look nice again. Black Paint job, aftermarket rims and tires (BBS) 16'' , Gretty exhaust or maybe pace setter. It already has a touring muffler, and i already fixed the dents. Also needs a Turbo and I'm buying a K&N Cold air intake for it.

it isn't that ugly... haha sorry... just paint the monster and throw some rims on it... look in the marketplace and see if you can find some.. and it will look sweet!

I'll check that out, Just wait till ya see the engine, I have no Idea what any of the specs are on it yet.. But its a great motor. I've never heard a car pur like this one with stck exhaust still on it.
