well my thinking on the matter is when you are face with a situation where you almost lose your life, money is the farthest thing away from your mind! now that i am healthy with no long term disabilities i feel blessed i am very happy to be in a position to continue to work on and modify cars! after the lawers are paid , the hospital are paid i might end up with about 18,000 dollars in my pocket out of the 350,000 maximum from his auto insurance policy for bodily injury we looking at a settlement in the area of 165,000 dollars.
i will be pleased. put some back for another rainy day, a little to finish my project car and some for the kids college fund and all is well ends well! thank everyone for their encouraging comments

I wonder if the guy who did that to you learned his lesson. I doubt it, but maybe he'll think twice about messing around in his vehicle. Who ever talked about theirself being in the accident and no this guy. You are DUMB. Im sure this guy would have traded anything to not be in the accident. Dont make stupid ass comments, most people dont appreciate things like that. My cousin was in an accident and I know he would give anything to have not been there. He has lost so much becuz one of his "friends" wanted to show off. He hasnt even seen a penny yet and its been about two years. Im glad they were able to rececitate you though. A four minute reaction time is very good. Im surprised it was even that quick. I know if I were to get in an accident on my way to school or work. It would most likely be like 10 mins for a "large" group of emergency personnel. I live out in the country in Iowa. Takes me 20 mins on 65 mph highways to get to school. see, I only believe in sueing people, because if you would have hit the other person, He would be the one getting sued. Its really a dog eat dog world. Even if a little talon, hit his big truck, and the guy in the talon got hurt. The truck would probably sue the guy.

UMMMM he ####ing hit him in the bumper, thats a delibrate attack. I could understand if I stopped suddenly and someone bumped into me not paying attention I would just go for a year or so's pay plus medical bills and anything else needed to compensate for what I will miss.
