I am having troubles with my '91 gsx. When I unload it in first, it gets to about 5 grand and and basically doesn't accelerate anymore until shifted to 2nd. The problem hapens in 2nd gear at 5 grand too. It makes the car shake pretty badly. Does anyone know what this problem is realted to??? Please help me

1st.. fill out your vehicle's mods list in your profile so can see what you have.

2nd.. check all hoses from the Air Cleanter to the Throttle Body for leaks / loose fittings.

3rd.. check you plugs condition (i.e. Black = Rich, White = Lean, Oily = $$$)

4th.. turn down your boost to see if that is the problem (i.e. fuel cut or too lean)

Hey, I had that same problem and it seems to be coming back. I don't know why this fixed it, but when I tried to do a boost leak test and pressurized all the piping from the turbo to the throttle body it got rid of the problem. Like I said, I don't know why that worked, but it did. Although now my car is running like **** again. So that might not be the way to go.

ECU, check it, it probably needs to be replaced
