Ok so i had a thread about my thermo going nuts, but i fixed it. At least i thought, when i would drive in city water temps were always normal, on highway normal until i would accelerate, then they would drop. Well my fluid was low so i topped it off, problem gone. Tonight on the drive home the car seemed to be running hot (the gauge didnt indicate this however) but when i popped my hood (which i do every night to let the car cool down easier) my my exhaust mani was red (now i no this is normal also but i drive to my girlfriends all the time and have not had this before, not to mention i was babying the trip this time). And the radiator just felt way hotter then normal. Also i noticed it looked like my cat was smoking the other day.... Could any of this be related?

Sorry for the long post, just want everyone to get all the facts, and no the car has not been changed in any performance ways at all in months.

So after doing a little research, what if im burning coolant? I should do a compression test correct? And could this be the cause of why my exhaust mani and turbo are getting so hot? (God i need a EGT right now...)
