I recently had my rack replaced, but now the steering wheel is off, everything else is fine as far as handling is concerned, my steering wheel is just not centered. How do I center it? I've looked around the forums, but nothing is really that clear, just people saying it was simple, a few bolts. Thanks!

Just go get an alignment. You need one anyways after doing a job like that.

I plan on getting an alignment, but I was under the impression that even when I get an alignment the steering wheel will still not be centered, I believe this has to be done separate.

Just to be clear, my car doesn't pull to the left or right, I can remove both my hands from the steering wheel and it will drive straight as an arrow, the only thing wrong is the steering wheel is upside down. I was told that all I needed to do was flip it around.

there are 4 bolts behind the stearing wheel if i can recall correctly, that will remove the airbag (make sure you have your battery disconnected before you do this) then just disconnect it from its wires. then there is a big nut in the middle that you gotta take out. if you have a air tool this will make it real easy to take out. You will then need a steering wheel puller which runs about 20 bucks or some stores let you rent it out. Use that to pull it out... you should by then be able to install it back straight (also make sure you have your wheels straight before you start this) and then install everything back how it was. after all is done connect the battery and it should be all good. Note: Be real carefull when pulling out the stearing wheel because it has a little spring that works with the airbag. if at the end you get a SRS light, you are gonna have to take it to the dealer to have them reset it

Now waitaminute. Is the goddamned thing "off center" as you started saying, or is it "upside down" as you're now telling us?
"Off-center", if the wheel is sitting properly on the shaft, is corrected by adjusting the tie rod ends, equally and in opposite directions on each side.
If the wheel's upside-down, the shop who put in the rack will be taking the wheel off and putting it back on right-side up.
But you people have to get your stories straight before we can provide effective and accurate help.
