Hello friends, I need your help. I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a stock 420A engine (not turbo). My problem is that I have code P0300.

I've already replaced the most common parts (crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, ignition coil, spark plug wires, spark plugs). I've also checked for vacuum leaks, but nothing has worked; the code keeps appearing. It clears with a scanner, but then suddenly reappears while driving and starts flashing. It flashes about twice, then I scan it again, and it clears.

I need your help; what could be the problem? Any advice on what to do?

Try the fuel filter next and run fuel system cleaner with the new filter. It might also be good to remove and clean the injectors themselves to make sure they have a good spray pattern

The other replaceable item would be the front primary oxygen sensor, or even cleaning the knock sensor or the wiring to the sensor

If you have a good obd2 scanner it may be possible to measure the misfires per cylinder in the live data readings, but I’m unsure of how advanced the scanner would be with these cars.
