Help with Data Logger

Okay so i picked up another DSM and found a great buy with my 1990 Talon TSI AWD. Has a bit of mods done to it and wanna monitor things with a data logger but i'm COMPLETELY new to data logging.

With the car the previous owner showed me that it has a data logger but he lost the palm for it. The cable is ran all the way to my glove box and i have a palm with the cable and i connected it and was stumped what to do from there.

Do i need to install a software onto the palm first and if so where?

Do i need a certain palm?

Do i need to sync it?


Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

Welll, really it depends on which logger you have… there are several that are commonly used on the DSM’s that use a Palm. The links below should get you started:

I would assume it is a MMCD so the first link should be what you are looking for, if you are completely new, then you have quite a bit of reading to do… the good thing is that there is plenty of info out there already…
