I have a GSX stock other than a full turbo back exhaust and a k&n air filter. Im burning lots of oil so I did a compression test. my numbers were as follow

150
155
150
150

The test was made at runnning temp. I did a couple pulls on it before doing the test. Are these numbers good? im guessing the valve stem seals are bad. I replaced the turbo because I thought the turbo seals were bad but that did not solve the problem. I can see a big cloud of blueish smoke coming out the tail pipe when I start the car. I can also smell the oil burning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

What year gsx? Though its not bad compression for 1g or a 2g but between the 2 they have reccomended limits. I would also do a leak down test and that should help pinpoint the issue. You also could be burning oil from the turbo it self

Was the turbo that you got brand new or a used one? If used are you sure it still isnt the issue?

Well I still say get a leakdown test done and it will tell you a more pinpoint area. Most likly seals but better to check and it be something else

Did you do the compression test with the throttle plate completely open and all spark plugs removed? If not, you should. Also, factory limit is 135psi (IIRC) with no more than 10% difference between cylinders. So I would say those numbers aren't amazing, but I wouldn't go tearing into it just yet. What is most important is that they are all equal, which they are. Seems to me it's just regular wear and tear for a near 20 year old engine.

For what it's worth, my Spyder GS smoked a bit upon start up when I first got it 2 years ago. I used some Seafoam (properly) and switched to a bit heavier Synthetic oil. No more smoke unless it's been sitting for quite a while. So I would definitely give that a shot.
