Hey, I know I should go post on the other audio message board, but its taking forever for it to send me my actiavtion code.

Anyways, I am installing a headunit on my freinds 1999 Ford Escort, and the head unit has no remote wire, what do I wire the remote wire on teh amp too then?

Any help would be great.

your friend needs a different head unit then...

seriously, all worthwhile aftermarket heads have rcas and turn on leads.

If you are keeping the factory head, then you will have to use an accessory powered 12+V souce... perhaps the cig lighter (most new ones only come on with the key in acc since they stopped being lighters in the 90's and became power ports).

Its a 2000 Panisonic, anyways I got it fixxed by wireing the remote wire to the radio fuse. Mods can close it if they need, problem solved.
