Help removing tail light tint

Okay so I bought my GSX last weekend and I've already been pulled over twice for the tail light tint. Next time they said they're towing it. I've been to auto zone and home depot and asked for help but both claim to not have anything to remove it. The tint is the spray on lens tint from any auto shop. I really need help on how to or what to use to remove this asap. Please and thank you.

P.S. I do love how it looks, I just can't afford a towing, nor can I afford new tail lights at the moment.

Find an eclipse in the junkyard and buy the tail lights super cheap.

^^^^^^ works great but depends if the scratched the lens to make it stick.... if they did then wet sand it off and apply a couple coats of clear coat and they will look brand new

i always heard of using a alcohol wipe, and it takes it right off....of couse that was when it just had dried!

Here's a good wright up on how to remove it using lacquer thinner. The pictures don't show up anymore, but it's still a good wright up.
