removing tail light lens?

Im trying to remove my tail light lens so i can start to make my custom led tail lights but i cant get it off its really on there and i was using a screwdriver to pry it off but i already chipped both of them and it wont come off. does anybody know a better method of taking these off or does anyone have a video?

Oven. 170 for 5-7 minutes. It'll soften the glue right up. I actually did it this week. Go slow and if it starts hardening before you're done removing the lens just stick it back in. Don't try to force it, or you'll crack it. (I did)

When assembling just lightly push it back together, heat it up again and seat the lens all the way it was originally

And fresh out of the oven it will be hot, but after a minute you can use your bare hands

Even though the oven will get this done right, be sure not to pull the lights apart too fast. They will crack if this is done because of the curve in the lens.
