removing tail light (tutorial required)

Can someone who has removed their tail light please give me some basics of removing them. Like where the screws and stuff are, some of the stuff I should be aware of or what to look out for.

I'm swapping my tail light to altezzas but have no idea how to remove them.

There are panels that you can pull off that are right behind the lights in the trunk area. It's not hard at all. Very easy. Like 6 screws each.

I don't agree with the the way he said it but 16vtawd has a point. I tried altezza's and they only made me appreciate the stock lights. I'll let you choose.......

i think they look alright if you leave the stock center piece in and just replace the outside lights. thats just my opinion

Ok , I don't really like altezzas, I would not buy them , and yes this post belongs in the non-performance forum. but come on the guy just asked how to take his lights out, if you know how to do that , reply , if you don't then just don't post

I learned how to take out the taillights when I bought my Eclipse because it came with altezzas! I quickly however bought the stock lights of the ricer kid down the street who put Altezzas on his car

I didn't buy my altezzas, someone wanna trade his for my stock lights. Now I'm having second thoughts, but like Silver 95 said, it might look nicer with the center piece on.

By the way, thanks for the tip.

Also, I would like to know, does altezza shine more when it's light up? I just want my brake light to light up alot. hehe.

What I hate the most is when someone takes the rear of a talon off and puts a Eclipse rear on just so they can get Altezza tails...Talon Tails are the best looking.

how "hard" do the lights pop out and pop back in? any clips or anything?

if someone could do a full rundown

im tinting my tails slighty and need to know how to take them out, i dont want to break or screw anything up and then not be able to drive because i dont have tails. how do the wires connect?

Very simple. Each light has about 6 screws in them. just unscrew and pop out. Very very simple. You will have more trouble getting the middle panel off to get to the light then taking them off. it's that simple
