alright trying to remove 3 stuck head studs that were left in a 7 bolt block when i bought it. the head is off of it but there are 3 studs still stuck in the block. no nuts on the studs just the stud. i got 2 of the off but the other 3 will not come out. i put a lock wrench on the stud and banged it with a hammer but it just spins around the stud. any ideas?

pictures would help eh?

Ok, well that would be the easiest way. The next best way is to put 2 nuts on the stud, snug the nuts together, then use a wrench to turn counterclockwise on the bottom nut.

Edit: And if you don't have 2 proper sized nuts, then vice grip it, really tight.

thanks guys again for your help. i got them out. searched the garage and found some graphite spray, and a 17mm socket that fit over the wise grips handle and used it as a long breaker bar and got them out.

dont vice grip it and dont use the stud extractor. unless you plan on gettin new or dont plan on using these agin. as mentioned above do the double nut trick. its a proven method that works every time no matter what. any thing else and youll ruin the threads making the arp's garbage. the hex hole on top is like 4 or 5mm allen wrench. if there REALLY in there i wouldnt fart around messin with the tiny allen wrench/socket. do double nut trick, it'll work.
