Im hooking up a remote start/alarm for my car.
I might be answering my own question here...

I hooked up all wiring except for the alarm, lock doors, and to unlock doors.
Everything turns on when I try to use the electric start but the starter wont kick on. I dont know if the alarm and door locks would have to do anything with it?

The only reason I didnt hook up the rest was because I didnt really care for using that feature because I still have the original remote for the car.

What would you guys think it is?

I'm not trying to bump.

Also, I tested the main 6 wires which were 2 12v constant's, starter, ignition 1, ignition 2, and maybe something else.
They all tested having voltage except for the starter wire.

Easy fix. Got ignition 1 and 2 mixed up.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there's only one ignition wire. How can ignition 1 and 2 have been mixed up if there is indeed only one?

Wow thanks for that link! That is so much better than my tek sheet from work. Goes to further prove how inaccurate or information can sometimes be for wiring.
