help rebuilding a 420a

im almost positive my motor is seized i am pulling it this week. i want to rebuild it i already have a brand new stock head. in it but i want to build a motor that is a little better than stock.but good enough to turbo it if i want. i am also not trying to spend a shit ton of money if anyone could help me out with trying to find out what kind of parts to use i would greatly appreciate it.i've had 4 dsm's now but i have never done anything but bolt ons so i am pretty new at this.thanks.

All you need is a set of forged pistons and rods, and ARP head studs it'll run you about $800. Everything else like bearings and gaskets can be standard stuff. The only weak part of the engine turbo wise is the pistons and rods. The stock head flows fine and doesn't need to be upgraded to make power.

Read up, these cars (2gnt's) have been around for 16 years, people have asked this same question hundreds of times you just need to search

Like 99RedGs said all you really need is the bottom internals the main things you need are the rods and pistons and head studs..also some ACL or Clevite77 bearings is all you need to hold boost. if your all motor right now and will be for a while you can get high compression pistons for more power while your all motor and if you go boost you can run LOW boost and make GOOD power with the high comp.

Similar question to this guys but i pretty much have all my stuff picked out, just wondering if it will work correctly.

Wiseco Pistons + Rings (9.1 STD)(can't find any but know they exist)
Eagle Rods
Clevite 77 Main bearings
Clevite Rod Bearings
ARP Head studs
ARP Main studs <--- would i need these or just head studs?
New gasket kit

Would this be a good setup
if so, could i run this with low boost and a tune job?
