Can someone with a 1G AWD take a picture of the ass of their car?

I've noticed that my rear wheels lean inwards at the top juuuust a bit, but it's an obvious lean. I've seen a few cars around town with the same lean, btu I'm not sure if that's normal?

I just want to compair wheel angle and see if I'm just imagining things.. o_o

Mine is a GSX with LSD. I'm new to the AWD/Turbo world so yeah.. not sure if that matters.

;D Plus you get to show off your second wifes(or husbands') rear-end!

It happens. Lowering springs on the car?

Search: camber

I am assuming you have a stock suspension (springs/struts). Is this a correct assumption? If you are on a stock suspension it will lean in a little towards the top of the tire, but shouldn't be too much. If you are lowered at all you will need a camber kit to correct the excessive negative camber. I am on a stock springs with KYB AGX adjustable struts and mine has a little negative camber, but not much at all. I can get a picture later when I get home if nobody else has one for you.

I believe the car is a bit lower, but wasn't aware if it was just a weight difference. The only experience I have is with a N/T. The car sits a few inches lower tham I am used to. On my NT, I could simply slide under the front end (with weight on my chest of course) and do what I needed to. On this, I can't fit my head under the front end.

We scraped off an excessive amount of grime on the drivers-side shock? (bleh?) and they were bright ass blue underneath....so I think it's safe to assume they lowered it a few inches? Speaking of the previous owner of course.

And what the hell is Camber? xD

Oh, another small note, the passenger side leans in a little bit more than the drivers' side.

Camber is the angle which your tires meet the ground. Negative camber will make the top of the tire lean inwards (like you are describing). The more negative camber you have the more the inside of your tires will get worn. If you were to give the car more positive camber you would be leaning the top of the tire out more. Most cars are set up with a little negative camber to help aid in better cornering, but excessive negative camber will wear out your tires quickly.

I see...

Thanks for taking the time to explain that. I try to at least learn 5 things a day from the forums... this is my first today. ;P

But yeah, this sounds exactly like what the issue is. How do you adjust that?

I'm just trying to have the forum used as a archival source as opposed to 120k people just talking to each other. There's a reason for the function. ;)

Aye, aye, I know... Proper use of the forum saves space and clutter.
