so i finally got my springs on my car. they are h&r sports, 1.7 front, 1.4 rear and i must say i love the springs, anyway, i have 215's on my car on a 7'' wide rim and now my rear tires hit when going over a good bump or a pothole of any sort. i know its hittin that inside lip right inside the rear wheel well, so what is the best way to get it to clear? i know all about rolling fenders, i helped roll 2 of my friends jettas, however the paint cracked(slightly) both time and i DONT want that happen. is it best to just cut it out or what? what tools to use? thanks.

What.

Why? Because the lip is where two pieces of unibody are welded together.

You may cut notches to facilitate the rolling, but you do not want to cut the lip off.

so cutting the lip is not a good idea? im just trying to make it so my rear tires clear, what other ways are there to make them clear? .. other then notching and bending?

raise your car up or have a lot of negative camber.
