If there aren't any dsm's in the game already, there won't be. The game is too far along for them to be adding new ideas. I'm not sure on a release date, but it's not too far off is it? I played the game at E3 a few weeks ago, and while they only allowed you to select from 3 courses, it looked pretty far along to me. At this point they're probably just tweaking out the game, cleaning up any major bugs, adding some artwork, maybe still working on some video footage, etc. I highly doubt they'll be adding any additional car models or tracks at this point.

Also, I didn't see any signs of a dsm. Closest thing was an EVO. However, the only mode they were showing off was the single race mode where you have a certain set of cars to choose from, so who knows, maybe you'll be able to buy one in simulation mode.

The next need for speed game, Need For Speed Underground will have a 99 GSX in it. That was the only game that I saw that had a dsm in it... except for the fast and furious game but that doesn't count. That looked horrible.

I think this petition is great, but although I dont want to be a downer or anything, I realisticlly dont think its gonna happen. The GT game designers are all japanese; probably most dont speak english, the games made entirely in Japan, and comes out there first, and the only thing the U.S. branch of Sony handles as far as the game is concerned, is the U.S. marketing and background music. I think any cars that are american that are in the game are classics that everyone knows such as the mustang, corvette, camaro, cobra etc. Since this is primarily a japanese game, any 'imports' such as euros or domestics, will be either exotic cars or cars that have a worldwide fanbase. I mean, coming from GT 1, the eclipse was so poorly represented, it was almost an insult; like they knew nothing about the car. Tokyo Extreme Racer as well. I'm starting to think Japan doesnt respect DSM's altogether. Tey werent made in Japan. The only ones ive seen in magazines or photos are some 1g's (with the gullwing doors) and one or two 2gs. Even my brother, whos' been to Japan a frequently says theyre rare. Theyre much bigger in other parts of Asia as imports, but not Japan. I guess in their eyes, it would be kind of like us having a Cobra Mustang built in France. er something. So although I hope in my hearts this petition works, I dont see it happening, save for maybe some american company doing it in the future. :(

Speaking of games. Ive started working on a 90-91 tsi for Gta3 for Pc. Would anyone be interested? Ill keep you guys posted on the progress.
