If there aren't any dsm's in the game already, there won't be. The game is too far along for them to be adding new ideas. I'm not sure on a release date, but it's not too far off is it? I played the game at E3 a few weeks ago, and while they only allowed you to select from 3 courses, it looked pretty far along to me. At this point they're probably just tweaking out the game, cleaning up any major bugs, adding some artwork, maybe still working on some video footage, etc. I highly doubt they'll be adding any additional car models or tracks at this point.
Also, I didn't see any signs of a dsm. Closest thing was an EVO. However, the only mode they were showing off was the single race mode where you have a certain set of cars to choose from, so who knows, maybe you'll be able to buy one in simulation mode.
The next need for speed game, Need For Speed Underground will have a 99 GSX in it. That was the only game that I saw that had a dsm in it... except for the fast and furious game but that doesn't count. That looked horrible.
