Ok so I do the normal washing of my baby on the way home she runs fine till all of a sudden a small miss fire that leads to not reving past 1.5k, revs drops, revs drops, almost like launch control. I restart it and have full throttle back for about 7 secs then back to the same thing, so I take out the eprom ecu with ecmlink and swap in the non eprom ecu and she runs better ( not perfect) but better with slight missing, so I take for a drive and I start to get the CEL at mid rpm every time. I get back home and I hear some vary slight knocking at idle and idle only??? WTF ?? So I'm hoping I can still save her and just put some new bearings in and solve that problem. But what and why did she do that? I plugged my logger in with the ecmlink and was getting no readings from it. Plugged it into the non eprom and get most readings but goes blank after 4k rpms? Thanks in advanced guys this is pushing me to my limits

Did you wash the engine bay when you cleaned the car? More often than not, whenever the hoods popped and you're spraying water under there to clean it you'll get some in your ignition system or a vital sensor. Then, without letting it dry properly, you start the car up and can short something out.

You said you tried hooking a logger up with your EPROM/ECMLink ECU in and couldn't get any readings however, you put the stock ECU you had in and you could connect with the logger. Can you connect, using a laptop, to your EPROM/ECMLink ECU and post a log of the car idling or just a log of the key turned to the ON position?

If you can connect with a laptop be sure to log MAFRaw, CoolantTemp, ISCPos, TPSPos, ThrottlePos, Baro, IntakeTemp, & Fronto2.

I wish I could use a laptop if I had one:( I did spray her down in the engine compartment as I always do. Runs fine for now, well after I do these rod bearings I hope all goes well with them

So far so good, new bearings are in and she is running. Bearing number 1, the metal was smeared a little bit on both haves, bearings 2, 3, 4 looked like they were brand new
