Help please. Axle?

Just hit the largest pothole I've ever seen doin about 40. Car leans to the right really hard. Left alone steering wheel pulls to about 2 o'clock. What do you think?

Check ball joints (both lower arms and upper arm) and tie rods (inner and outer).

Just got it to my dads shop. He said I need a complete strut tower. Spring. Everything

Ouch. Can the strut tower just be welded? Replacing the entire strut tower would be a total pain in the ass.

If the whole strut tower was cracked, I doubt he'd be able to drive the car.



Shock and spring you mean? That's not good.

At least this may give you a reason to upgrade your suspension now


I'd still check the rest of that stuff I listed just in case.

I have no idea. But we took the wheel off checked it it was fine. But it wasn't the strut tower itself that broke he just suggested get the whole thing. So he talked to his friend an I'm gettin the entire thing for $50. Car might be down for the weekend though. Sucks

Nah I drove it to my dads shop then after he looked at it went home. It's been outside since. Jacking it up to put the new struts on tomorrow.

I would def have the lower ball joint checked after that hard hit, they are a know problem area along with rusty strut towers..
