Kelowna,
So after doing some test runs I think I might have found my problem to my 43 counts of knock. I got the girlfriend to moniter the logger and told her right when I heard the rattle and she said the knock count jumps right up to 43counts. We did this at multiple speeds and RPM ranges and it would always jump up to 43 counts of knock when the rattle starts.
As for pinpointing the rattle heres the info I can give you. The rattle only occurs WHILE driving.
The rattle only happens when boost is above 0, at normal driving speeds and in vacume the rattle can't be heard.
The rattle does not INCREASE with engine speed, OR vechicle speed, how ever the rattle does get LOUDER when more boost builds.
The rattle only occurs when the vechicle is IN gear, I pushed in the clutch and revved the engine while moving at the same speed and the rattle was not heard.
And lastly the rattle sounds like loose nuts and bolts in a container being shook around. It sounds like its coming from the drivers front side of the engine but this is not confirmed.
I checked all of the exhaust hangers and the exhaust is clearing everything and is secure.
WHAT could this be, its driving me insane!
