Hello everyone, I dug a 1g turbo out of the grave. IT had been sitting for a long period of time. Fuel tank and pump were trashed, so I replaced those. When I went to start the car everything seemed normal, could hear fuel pump working, starter engaged, but no start. I tried a few more times, then the starter quit working. Ran a wire from positive battery terminal to the starter, this made it engage and work. Still not getting power to starter using key though. I heard the MPI/FP relay click when I tried to start car. I had a spare relay so I swapped it in. Tried starting car with key again and starter performed like it should. After a few more times, the starter quit working again. Had one more spare FP relay, swapped it. Same story, tried to start a few times then nothing. My question is, what is the relationship between the MPI/FP relay (E8T07071) and the starter. Blows my mind. Thanks alot tuners.
