Help! New built motor, bad oil pressure! :(

NEW OEM oil pump
NEW OEM oil filter housing
Balance Shaft Eliminated
Running straight 40 weight oil, and 1 lucas!

I have 60 psi when cold starting, and I am fine untill the car warms up. Than we have oil pressure at 7-12psi. What else can be checked, or what could the problem?

You don't seem to be too far from normal. I would get that Lucas out of there and go to some good 10w30 oil. 40 wt can get a little fudgy if it is cool out. Thinner oil, especially synthetic will give you better lubrication upon startup which is where the most wear on your motor happens.

^ That. Also what oil filter are you using? Strange things have happened in the past with oil filters. . .

Yup machine shop that did the Bearings, also did balance shaft removal, and guarantee both are done perfect.

Also used 2 diff oil filters, Fram and Mobil same exact issue with pressure.

After warmed up dummy light will go on at idle, and will go off when given a little gas. The light goes on at what.... 5 psi?!

Isn't 7-10psi per thousand the rule of thumb after car warms up?... At least thats what I've been reading...so you should be fine ...

Oil filter housing ported at all or the relief spring cut down?
