HELP need shot of gas

I am having a problem with the car starting after it has cooled off. I just rebuild the motor which runs just fine after it is started.. If you crank on the starter it will just crank & crank sometimes sputtering .. But if you take the vacuum hose that goes into air filter that connects to top of intake and shoot some gas into it it will start right up and stay running.. Then you can shut it off after that and it will start fine as long as it's warm... I have swapped out injectors and ran a wire to the battery from the fuel pump and both never helped it..I hope someone can shed so light on the problem..

Two things I have personally seen that cause the cold start problem:
1.) Fuel line feed's hat on the fuel pump is not sealing correctly (loose or bad o-ring).
2.) FPR module is not functioning or is disconnected (that module on the firewall with the vac line that runs from the FPR to the #1 runner of the intake manifold). On cold start this module closes preventing the vacume signal from reaching the FPR. This in effect boosts your base fuel pressure a few psi on cold starts.

Of course could also be a clogger fuel filter.

Am I the only one who saw that the first person who helped him told him to fill out his vehicle profile. Was there any reason for the next two people to tell him the same thing? By the way, i did find the use of the huge letters to be funny.

All right I updated my vechile info.. Left info at bottom of question but it needed added to info anyway my bad.. When I reinstalled the motor I changed the fuel filter due to it being hard to get to and I will check on the FPR module to make sure it's hooked up.. Is there a way to test fuel pressure if so I can check that but my gauge is the screw on type..

Check your fuel pump relay for starters. I don't know if there's a "why" it could be heat-related, but it's an easy first suspect.
