I am looking at getting a used fidanza flywheel (125) and was wondering what clutch i should get. I dont street race it that often and its a daily driver so i dont want to go with a heavy clutch. Some suggested before maybe a centerforce or a ACT 2100. Like before i just need something decent not too crazy.Another reason for not going too heavy is to steer clear of the CW.

I've had a centerforce for more than 50k miles and the car is fine. the pressure plate is heavy on it [ heavier than my friends 2600 ] . crankwalk is highly overrated, if you get it you get it. it's kinda like if you get a spun bearing... sh*t happens.

with that said I'd recommend an ACT 2100 or 2600 over any centerforce anyday. besides, they're not THAT bad. :boring:

crankwalk is overrated, but having a heavy pressure plate will tear up you thrust bearing a lot quicker than if you had a lower pressure plate. If you car doesn't see track use very often then go with the 2100. If you drive your car hard and like taking it to the track for some hard launches, then go with something bigger. I have the ACT 2100 and I like it a lot despite what people say about it and it sees track use every couple of months, but my car is a FWD. I have heard a lot of good things about the Exedy clutches but I have no experience with one.

i totally understand that CW is overrated but the one thing i do believe is the heavier pressure plate could cause me to worry a little. I think the 2100 is for me. I dont beat it a lot and like before with it being a daily driven car i shouldbe fine. I only race it here and there.
