Help me get rid of that GOD DAMN SQUEAKING!!!

Ok i cant stand it anymore. my god damn brakes wont stop squeaking and its driving me nuts. they only squeak when im braking, not when i just drive normal. they are really bad if im on the brake light, but if i hit them hard they dont squeak. the pads and rotors are less then 4 months old. what the hell can i do??? please help!


P.S. i think i have a sticking caliper, my car veirs right when i drive normal, and pulls harder right when i brake. i dunno if that could be a cause of the squeak or not. im not sure if the caliper is sticking or i have a bent control arm, cause after i slid off the road one time, i bent a wheel bearing, and when they fixed that they went to do alignment and told me they couldnt get it exactly, i could have a bent control arm. so if i could get help on that, it would be great too

I use SIG (orange stuff in a tube) on my pads, it works great. Or you could file a little off the front and rear of the pad to make a slant, and make sure the paint that is on the side of the pad is scraped off.
That stuff can cause squealing.

I had the same problem when I replaced the OEM pads and rotors with Raybestos pads and rotors (I used the blue anti-squeak stuff as well). They were quiet at first but as time passed, they squeaked more and more and more. Finally, I couldn't stand the embarrassment any longer. I went to www.tirerack.com and ordered and then installed the ceramic pads and standard rotors they offer. That cured the problem.

How do you bend a wheel bearing?

Either buy the cheapest pads in the world or buy the ceramic pads. One of them should cure it.

put that anti squeak shit on the back of the pad...i moves in there and causes it
