Just installed a mbc its a ball and spring type with a bleeder valve as well. My problem is that it boost to 16psi then drops and pretty much holds at 13.
Let go through how I hooked everything up I wasnt exactly sure, remove bcs, capped off nipple on intake pipe and nipple on turbo housing, then I put a tee connection into hose going from intake mani to bov and connected the mbc between the tee and the wastegate actuator. To make sure I have the bov the right way the hose coming off the intake mani would connect to the pressure side of the system, if you get what Im saying here.
Any tips of preventing this initial spike.
Boost leak??

But if you want to stay stock, just live with it. Another possible problem could be if you have the stock 2g BOV which leaks above 12psi as well. I upgraded to a 1g and the boost went up to 15psi without a boost controller on the stock t-25.
