valve cover gasket? If so, how easy are they to replace?

there was mess like ^ around all sides of the motor before I degreased it today.

looks to be the valve cover gasket.. not that hard to replace ... just be careful not to over tighten the bolts under the spark plug cover. or the cover will crack
 
good to hear I guess, thanks!

Car only has 60k on it, surprised that the gasket is leaking already, but then again, it is 14yo...

Sunday night update:

degreased it, did some other cleaning and checking (gave the intercooler it's first ever cleaning apparently, 15yrs of mud in the fins). Then I took it for a quick 5 minute ride to make sure everything was hooked up right, came back to find this

yeah, definitely new gasket time. I am wondering how the oil is getting on to the cam cover though.
