Here is the deal. I have eibach sportline springs on gr2 kyb shocks. As most of you know this does not work. So I want to keep the springs for cost purposes and switch shocks/struts. The konis which are highly recommended cost around $700 and the kyb agx are around $350. Is it worth the $300 difference. Please keep in mind that I am not into autocross or anything of the nature so maximum performance is not necessary. I simply need a shock that does not allow the car to travel so far up and down because it is so low.

I know that this has been somewhat discussed previously but there has never been a definitive answer. I just need to know if I will get a comfortable ride with the agx kybs or do I actually have to spend $700 to get the konis.

thanks
mike

Get tikco Illuminias..

Get a set of 4 for around 400 bucks. Highly recommended, 5 way ajustable :)

You don't have to spend $700 for the Koni shoks. You should find them for around $550. Just a quick search on the web showed me these at Shox.com for $571, so with some shoping you can get those which would be my recomendation as well!!

Good luck

ps. well the link doesn't really go there so you need to find the way through. You can also get them from Tire Rack for the same price.
