Help In Oil Change

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME BY SHOWING PICTURES OF DOING AN OIL CHANGE ON 95-99 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE. I DID THE OIL CHANGE YESTERDAY AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE I DID IT THE RIGHT WAY. AND HOW MANY QUARTS DO I USE TO FILL IT UP??

1. place car ( warm engine) on stands

2.place oil drain pan under car at oil drain

3. remove drain pan plug and catch old oil

4. remove oil filter

5 after all oil has drained out put in drain plug, and tighten.
look at old filter and see that the old gasket is in the filter groove and not still on the
engine. take some oil and coat the new oil filters gasket then install hand tight.

6 remove oil fill cap and put in first few quarts of oil (3)

7. start engine and run untill oil pressure shows or light goes off
check under car for leakes from plug or filter. if everything fine go to step 8.
if any leakes check plug or filter as needed first.


8. let engine stand off for a min then remove dip stick and read oil level
add oil to mark on stick

9 remove oil drain pan ( i like to fill the oil containers with the old oil to make disposal
easer)

10. remove car from stands and check one more time for leaks.

Don't forget to strip the threads on the oil drain plug and then swear alot

Wow, the best instructions on changing your oil ever. Even tells you what to do with the trash. Don't forget to wash your hands in Orange Scrub and get a Mt. Dew!
