2G Help identifying fogs

Hello,
Thanks for checking this out. I have never seen before a 2GB fog light with this glass in it.
They came off of a 97 Eclipse

4g63 non turbo car with a 2GB body.
Is this a EDM spec? I appreciate any feedback.

Looks like they painted the inside. Pretty sure they’re factory 2gb fogs.

Yeah I had that thought. Just use a star bit and unscrew the housing and take apart I suppose.

Were there any factory options? The car was minty OEM. But yeah I suppose if you want to add your touch to the bulbs you could huh?

I've never had fog lights on my GST. These are my first pair. So I dont know anything about the oem ones.

And they wont fit with my intercooler.. haha

They look just like a 97 Spyder set that I have one of.

The car got stolen and wrecked of course because it was to fast for whoever nabbed her or I'd have a pair of good Stock Mitsubishi Spyder fogs or the car and driving. Made it about 3 -4 miles....

This just for reference against a stock GSX or TSI Fog light. My 98 TSI has rectangular fogs.

They bolt up the same I think also.

Interesting..
Did you paint them? Same yellow? It's got that factory weird yellow.

They are marked "Stanley" and "USA 1"

im pretty sure these are oem like tsiawdtalon said. either from a gst or gsx. im pretty sure these were only on the 97-99 models.

I think they are ONLY Mitsubishi fogs, the Talons had a different look kind of like the 95-6 Mitsubishi's.

These were inside my fog lights. First photo.
After they were removed and new two color LEDS were installed the fog lights it looked like the second photo with lenses removed.

With original lenses the first photo was? That's interesting.

I've always only seen clear glass lenses or poorly mounted aftermarket ones. Always seems to be blue too haha.
