Help hooking up glowshift gauge's

I'm getting ready to hook up some gauges.
Oil pressure gauge
Boost gauge
EGT gauge

It seem's that the wire's aren't long enough??
What wire's could i use as an extension?

now your on my level..
Since the wire on my gauge that goes to the oil pressure sender
isn't long enough.. i need to find a wire that extends it to the sender...

Don't be a dumbass, if you're not going to help then don't post. Oil pressure gauges are actually important, unlike a narrowband or something of that sort.



@ OP, one of the wires is a ground I believe, so all you need to do is get I think it was 20AWG wire that they use for the gauge wiring (might be 18, though, check on the gauge wiring, it should say) and solder it to extend it.

I have Oil pressure/Boost/EGT in my vr4 from glowshift, i just bought same type wire size from autozone and butt connected it to extend it. works for me.

What the hell are you talking about??

An aftermarket oil pressure gauge will be loads more accurate than the stock one. One reason, is that you can actually READ NUMBERS.

I agree that you should use ~20 gauge wire or something the same gauge of the original wire.

The oil pressure sender is grounded through the threads. It only has one wire coming out of it. However, I'd suggest using a remote mount kit for your oil pressure sender.

Thanks for the correction, been a while since I've checked mine. If anyone is wondering why kimchee said to get a remote mount kit for your sender, it's because a lot of people have had vibration from the motor kill their senders prematurely.

Go to autozone and buy two reels of 12ga wire. You can also go the route I did and go to your local hardware store and buy sheathed wire, it'll have 1-4 wires inside of a covering, then you only have to route one slightly thicker piece through the firewall and then cut the sheathing off and route your wires from there. A 10' piece is more than enough, it'll cost you less than $10.
