Help! Gauges Not Working

if anyone has seen that thread about changing the gauge lights and using those tiny LED's for the needles, well thats exactly what I did. they were working fine for the past like 5 months and just now i took the gauge cluster out to fix one of them. i put it back in and ALL the gauges just stopped working.

I have a 99 eclipse rs. i thought it was just the rpm gauge then i took it for a spin to see if the tachometer worked. nothing. on the way back the back circuit board smoked and was burning one of the lines. nothing i couldn't fix though.

can anybody help me......................?

i also read the thread. i didn't do it yet tho.. my gues abit of the souder hit one if the grounds..just a gues...
take a picture id like to see..if you can
ohh you may want to change the fuse to a lower amperage like a 7 amp
i case something like that ever happens again, LED's don't suck that much power
so when the fuse is much more amperage..your less likely to blow it when a short comes along

here is a picture of what it looks like. at the top left side i had to make a connection so i soldered some wire to reconnect them. and the the bottom left it looks like a long burned out wire but its actually working because those connect to the little halogen lights bulbs. and those turn on so i dont know why the gauge needles aren't getting any signal. plus the odometer or whatever its called that records the miles you drive isn't working either. so i'm just driving without record any miles......
