Quick help please!! Antenna not working

Hi guys. my car was broken into and the aftermarket pioneer HU was stolen. I bought another Pioneer and got everything set up and installed. But the antenna won't go up so that's no radio signal, the HU turns on ok though. I plugged the antenna wire into the HU but it didn't work. Am i missing something here?

Please any input will be appreciated. Quick help please.

I just had to replace my antenna mast cuz the part inside that retracts it broke. Luckily it was stuck up when it broke When you turn on the radio do you hear the antenna motor trying to move it? If not then the motor went bad or it's not getting a power signal. If you do hear it, but it doesn't move then you need a new mast.

there should be a blue wire coming out of the back of the HU, that is the remote antenna signal. Make sure that is hooked up to the wire going to the antenna. (if you bought a wiring harness it should also be blue.

if it is hooked up correctly try taking the remote antenna wire coming out of the dash and wiring it directly to a 12v pos connection. Maybe the HU isnt sending power thru the wire.

thanks guys, i figured that out. that's a blue wire coming from the stock wiring labeled as "system remote system" , that's why I confused if it's the antenna wire. I connected it to the blue one from the aftermarket wiring harness and now it works fine. Thanks a lot for the help!!
