Hey this is the first post on here i’m doing so bare with me😂So my name’s Anthony, and recently i acquired a 1992 eagle talon with currently 81k miles. Thankfully, i bought it from someone who knew what the car was, as he took care of the car and made a few bits of preventative maintenance so the car would be perfect for me. there are a list of things that came with the car, and here’s everything that i know that has been done to it:

-fpr
-glowshift gauges (boost, oil press, and afr)
-a separate ecu (ecmtuning)
-an extra valve cover gasket (even tho its already done)
-bigger fuel pump so i can add injectors later
-i also purchased oem door panel inserts as the previous owner had steelers themed ones😂

now i know im a little late in the game for these but its just the aesthetic that im looking for: something different. for right now i want to scope out my goals which honestly mainly involves cosmetic treatment such as paint/wrap, new wheels and tyres, etc. also, i need to get the car tuned as it does run a little rich. every bit of info helps, and will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Man.... all these low mileage DSMs crawlin out of the woodwork lately....

Welcome! Nice find. Nice to know that someone who loved DSMs previously owned the car and took care of it...

If youve never owned a turbo car before, pick up or build a boost leak tester and a good spray bottle. Then get acquainted with boost leak testing. Youll be doing a lot of it.
