i bought a carbon fiber hood for my 91 gvr4, whats the best way to drill the hood safely without damaging it? it was very expensive, LOL and i dont want to ruin it. thanks!

I would think that you could get some masking tape and tape the top of the hood you were going to drill. This would prevent any splitting or whatever...

Put toothpaste or some paint on the hood pin bolts to mark where you want to drill. Then use the smallest drill bit and slowest RPM and start with a small hole and make it big. Do not over-tighten the screws that hold the pins, it will make your gel coat crack.
