HELP car wotn rev past 1500 rpm

At first the car wouldnt rev past 3000rpm now it dropped down to 1500 rpm the car doesnt have a maf sensor the car run s with a standalone ecu (megasquirt II). idk any help would be appreciated ive looked around and found nothing alot of people say its the maf but i dont have 1... it revs up sluggish and slow to 1500 samething when it used to go to 3000

its a 95 awd talon

Not familiar with megasquirt. If you don't have a maf, what are you using to measure airflow into the engine.

Did the problem just start or have you had this problem since you installed the megasquirt.

it uses map manifold absolute preussre and idk the guy sold em the car not running to me i managed to get it running... its running pig rich...can any sensors,coil pack or wires/plugs cause the revlimit to be 1500 before it was 3000 rpm like couple days ago now its 1500...could a realyl bad boost leak cause a rev limit also?
