Hey guys i searched around but couldn't find what i was looking for my problem.

At idle and low boost like when i cruising around down my car dosen't smoke at all, but when i start to play around with the car and hit higher boost i.e. 10+ psi, the car will smoke for a couple secconds after i press the gas again. Like if i floor it in second gear the car dosen't smoke when i'm flooring it it's not unitl i let off the gas and then press it again like when i shift from 2nd to 3rd that it will smoke for about 1 to 2 secs and then be fine.

i'm not sure if it's blue or white smoke but i'm pretty sure it's oil, i just can't figure out what it is since the car dosen't smoke at all during normal driving and low boost.

I check my oil level and i had to add oil but i'm not sure if i'm burning it or if losing it becuase of my mysterious oil leak that causes oil to puddle in the spark bay. But i'm hoping it's not coolant since the car dosen't smoke under normal driving

So any help would be great i'm hoping nothing serious with the engine but what do you guys think.

My car does the same thing but I just rebuild the engine so its still in breaking in period. I know that it does that because the rings haven’t sealed yet or your turbo is going bad. Check the intercooler pipes first

just a thought, but if you are venting your BOV to atmosphere, the motor will run super rich when you get off the gas to change gears, which will result in a rich condition for a couple seconds when you give it gas again, altho I havent heard of it causing a smoking problem, but anything is possible with these cars.

No, the vented bov will not cause a blue/white smoke to come out. My car was fine and then started to do the same thing and gradually got worse so I pulled my turbo and behold he oil seal was going out so you just need to rebuild your turbo

i removed the hose connected to my j-pipe ad there was a little oil on my finger when i wiped it along the inside of the hose or is that the wrog place to ck should i remove the other end of the hose and see if it's pooling in the smic.

And howmuch oil should i be looking for oh and i foudsome oil when i removed the throttle elbow hose, is it possible for the oil to some howbe coming from my pcv valve, i just replaced it ot that long ago.

You need to pull off the lower part of the Lower IC pipe. Check that and the SMIC for oil puddling. Also, while your under the hood, pull off the intake and check for turbo shaft play by trying to wiggle the compressor wheel up and down, in and out, side to side. A very faint barely-noticeable side-side shaft play is okay. ANY in and out shaft play means the turbo is on its way out.

Good luck.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to do a compression test and/or a leakdown test to rule out headgasket, rings, and other head-related parts.

Ok guys i've removed the lower intercooler pipe and decided to just removed the smic as well, i didn't find and signs of oil it was just a little bit dirty whe i rubbed my finger on the inside but not much.

I also removed my intake and and ck the turbo shaft there was very very slight side to side movement and no in and out.

So i'm not sure what could it be , as for right now i'm going to clean up all the oil thats all over the engine bay and pick up a new oil cap gasket tomorrow.

so right now i'm pretty much stumped these thing has so may oil leaks that i need to fix tonite so maybe that might help not real sure.

Oh i checked my coolant and there wasn't any oil in it so i think the head gasket might be ok but i'll buy a pressure tester tomorrow ad also a compression tester so i can get a better idea.
