Ok so i just got my inner tie rod replaced and my car was driving fine for a day. I then got onto the interstate and out of no where my car starts to shake really bad. It only happens when the car is in gear and i am giving gas. If i am in neutral or in gear but foot off the gas then the car run perfectly fine. But If i give it any amount of gas the whole car shakes. It seems to be coming from the motor. It kind of feels like the motor is loose and just jerking the whole car when i give it some gas. Please help me!!!!!!!!

OK i will, but i mean if it were the wheels wouldnt it be shaking all the time not just when i give it some gas?

Also if it means anything, i can rev it up and nothing happens. motor is still no shaking, nothing

O well its just a simple check because when i got my new tires on i was driving and i noticed bad shaking and the rim was just loose.. But then on my old 95 gsx it did the same thing and replaced the motor mounts and fixed the problem

was it like really bad shaking? like you think you shouldnt be driving it? Because thats what mines like.

Depends. Start the car and have someone watch the engine while u put it in gear and reving it. If it moves hard and jerks replace motor mounts.

Im getting it checked out tomorrow but i dont know about the alignment because after i got the tie rod replaced, it drove perfectly fine.

If the motor mounts are fine and the alignment is fine have them balance your tires. sometimes wen the car is vibrating at highways speeds it static balance is out on the tire so the tire jumps up and down. just a thought

taking it in in a half hour...

but im jus saying, the car shakes even in speed of 35mph. Anytime i press the gas it feels like the motor gets rocked side to side causing the cars to shake side to side but if my foot is off the gas, its all good.

So I just got a call from them and they think it might be the drivers front cv axel. Would a bad cv axel be doing the things i described?
