Ok so I get this 95 2g as a project well to start its got a 1g block and 2g head the guy went and did the thing w. Ecu rewired the coils and wired up the cam.thing on the head so there's no crank sensor w. That said I think its out of timing all the marks line up.I'm looking to make sure all piping is tight I had a 16g big now and atmos. Greddy bov. The rest is stock all the help or walk through would be greatly appreciated oh and its running rich u can smell it this is my first turbo car I have two codes map malfunction and o2 heater malfuntion

I forgot it don't go ove 2500 rpms
 
its hard to say. the 2500 rpm max makes everything hard to find out the problem. i would start with boost leak testing. they make your car run rich, since you do have an aftermarket bov. And the o2 sensor being bad will also make your car run rich. Boost leaks may be throwing off your map sensor, it is on the top of the intake manifold. I say that because the maf is reading all your air before the turbo, then if your leaking boost its not reading similar to the manifold air pressure sensor map
 
The map sensor is located ontop of the intake manifold, It looks like a small square black plastic. Which o2 sensor is bad? If the one up front that goes right after the turbo is bad then you will be running rich. Also, venting the BOV with out a GM MAF and Translator or ECMLink chip will give you rich conditions.
 
Yes LOL on the money we were messing with the cam thing as if advancing or retading but nothin tomarrow I'm lookin w. A timig light. And checking the intercooler connetions I cleaned the smic out the other day

Ok it runs drive timin is set I checked and tightened everyrhing and no boost earlier the car started w.
/o the maf and it ran good and the bov shwoooosh and now no boost and the blowoff is nothing my boost guage is hooked up the the fuel regulator vac. Line and nothong but I have vac when in the gas it won't go past 0
 
Yea we found out the problem I think my 16g big has a good amount shaft play so I'm assuming bad turbk I got 20 on the vac side and when I take it down the road it stops at 0.
