For starters. I am 2,500 mi into a new block, new headgasket, machine work done to warped head, new transfer case.
ok..about a month ago i had my car running in neutral for about 5 minutes and it started blowing white smoke, didnt think anything of it except it was about 55 degrees at the time, not cold enough to normally produce steam. It got worse and worse thoughout the night. Took it home. For the next week i saw no white smoke. Next weekend rolls around [2 weeks ago] same thing and i take it to mitsu dealer the following monday. They found nothing wrong and said if it does it more/affect performance, then bring it in. Told me blah blah could be this blah blah could be that, but bottom line is that white smoke means coolant [thanks captain obvious
] Well its gotten 10x worse. Recently the cars been blowin white smoke through 3rd and blowing hard at idle. Doesnt do it unless turbo is spoiling, but does do it everytime i shift [whether it be at 2k or 7k rpms]. In the last week its gotten to the point that it does it constantly and i can't see out the windshield if im parked for a few minutes and no wind.. it litterally gets that bad...we ran a compression test...nothin unual..hooked up a data link..not throwin a single code. oil pressure is fine. Engine temp is normal. It's gettin to the point of really pissin me off. Got an oil change about 1,500 mi ago and when i checked it last night it was runnin bone dry. I had to add 3 quarts before anything measurable showed. I don't understand, why's it burning so much oil? there is no oil leakage, no coolant leakage, can anyone out there HELP a DSM brother out ???
