Ok guys... im sure this has been asked several times but I just cant find the answer and solution to my problem. Ok my car turns on really rough and start smoking (black smoke) and backfires.. Ive read people saying it might be car running to rich, but then again car is completly stock except bov and exhaust. Car also has stock t25, injectors, and fuel pump... so I ask myself how could it be running rich? I would really appreciate if someone could help me out solve my problem. THANKS in advance!!!:thumb:

Could be alot of things...

1. knock sensor could be bad, causing the sensor to show too much knock and throw a large amount of fuel into the cylinders. (Usually doesnt cause it to throw an extreme amount of fuel though like your situation)

2. bad bank 1 (top sensor on the dump pipe) oxygen sensor can cause it to run rich as well. Same syntoms as #1 but an extremely worse.

3. Bad ecu

4. Bad temp sensor

The list goes on and on. Do you have any CEL being thrown??
