Guys today I followed the procedures on the forum to find my battery drain problem, and I have found that on my HEADLAMP PHARES fuse it is drawing more than 350mA alone. I looked all over my dashboard couldnt find any short, and both of my headlamp were off. Evertyhing seems to be working light switch have no problem controlling the headlamps or fog lights. Where can this short be ?? 350mA sounds very little for a short but I just couldnt find the load. Dashboard light is off too nothing else is acutally on how can there still be a 350mA being drawn?

97 GST

If you are using an ammeter on a scale position of less than 10 amps you will get a misleading reading as those scales add significant resistance (in the meter) to affect the reading (will read low). On your GST that fuse goes to the headlight & taillight relays and to the alternator (voltage regulator). It's most likely your alternator so unplug the 4 wire connector (have to pinch the lock tab and wiggle and pull hard) to see if drain disappears. If not unplug the relays and see.

if i unplugged the fuse for headlamp phares the drain disappears, I havent got chance to check the alternator wire. Do i need to jack the car up or its doable from engine bay ? So is this 350mA a short?

P.S. I am using digital AMETER

I also tried to unplugged all the connector on steering wheel column still nada cant find what is draining
