Help asap! fuel pump / tank / rewire

ok, heres my situation. i tried researching tons, but cant get it together. hoping someone can help.

i'm in the midst of replacing my fuel tank (old one had a hole in it), so while its out I figured i'd throw in a walbro 190 and re wire it. I have a 1995 Talon tsi awd.

when i go to vfaq.com, the sending unit/pump is different looking than the one i have. 99% sure anyway. so im hoping someone could show me a pic of a proper looking 2G awd pump, and also looking for a good site for rewire instructions (not a fan of the vfaq one)

any help, suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Just study closely the one on vfaq. The only "hard" part to understand is the relay they show, but you'll figure it out if you take the time to look at it. Trust me, the first time I saw it I thought "I can't do this" But it's actually very simple. Just take your time.

maybe the fuel pump you have in there has already been replaced if it looks different.

hey, thanks for the reply, but the fuel pump doesent look different, its the actual sending unit.

I looked on vfaq and the only rewire they have for a 2g is a fwd, which is why it is a different sending unit, so don't be alarmed . You might want to look at the 1g awd instructions, not sure but it might be the same sending unit as the 2g. Good luck.
