i have a 92 gsx wen i step on the gas pedal it doesnt do anything then all of a sudden u take of or wen u step on the pedal it starts bucking back and forth ,and the thing will idle at like 500 then jump up to like 3000 then 2500 then 1200and then back to 500 im going f-ing crazy some one anyone help :thumbdown

I know my engine was haveing some bad misfireing before i changed the spark plugs... and wires.

no idea about the other crap though

does anyone think it is my fuel injectors cuz there clogged because my car has been sitting for 6 months cuz thats wut i think

Try wires and plugs first, they're easy to do. Come back for more if that doesn't work.

hey buddy I think you answered your own question... if your injectors are clogged thats probably your problem... change the plugs and wires, clean your injectors and tell us how it went.

the plugs are brand new the wires are in pretty good condition. i guess im gunna clean the injectors
wut do u have to do to them can i just pull them out and clean em with carb cleaner?

You can try lucas fuel injector cleaner, they work pretty well for me. How do know your injectors are clogged? My car once sat for 2 years and they didn't clog. Double check gaps on the plugs, should be .28, get a set of new wires, pull your ECU and do the smell test and see what happen. Also, back tracking to what you did before this started can usually point you to the right direction.

its not my computer cuz i just got a new one 400$ got new wires today didnt fix it so new wires and plugs still nothin cleaned injectors not even that dirty still nothin im running out of options some one help

i got a new pcv valve that helped the idle surge it goes from like 1000 to 1500 now wich is alot better than it was and i drove it around a little more and i am finding that wen it starts to bog down if i shift to neutral and rev it up to like 4000 and wait till rpms come back down and shift into gear i can drive for like a couple minutes till it happens again wut do u guys think
