help ...1g motor on 2g dsm

Hi guys I'm at a stop I just did a engine swap on my bros 98 2g gsx I swapt in a 1g motor that was perfectly working. In to my bros gsx because it got crank walk. And the car won't start aperantly the coils won't spark I've tried two coil packs but the car won't start.
Any help would be apreciated.

Did you do the CAS swap and wire it as it should be?

I put the 2g cas and cams on the 1g head. So it would fit with the 2g harness.

How did u wire you cas? Did u swap the pins in the ecu?

There is a bit of electrical work and a few other things involved in the Swap.

Also, just to clarify, did you swap in a 6 or 7 bolt?

I will take pics later. And its a 6bolt motor..
And for the cas I just used the stock from the 98gsx
But the 6bolt block does not have a craank angle sencor.

Another thing if you cant get the coil pack to work on the 1g motor, one of my buddies has a 97 with a stock head and is running 10.82s.

He has the same 7 bolt but got crank walk. so he went to mitsubishi, and asked for a solution to crank walk, the master tech at the dealership said that mitsubishi fixed the crank walk problem. i guess they made the journals on the crank too wide and thats what would cause the movement under high boost levels. so they redisigned the 7 bolt crank and got rid of the possibility of crank walk.

Now the OEM crack is.... 400 bucks .... but it will eliminate crank walk.

Just remember, you get what you pay for.

Ohh, but when the car got crank walk it messed up the 2g head.
