Hello, I have a 91 Eclipse 4G63T, just replaced the turbo, plugs, plug wires, coil, oxygen sensor and throttle body rebuild. I let it run for a few hours, took it about a half mile down the road and it died. check engine light came on. this morning I have tried running a diagnosis of the 12 pin connector with a volt meter and a light tester. no signal on either. it will crank. no start. any suggestions on why I'm not getting a signal to diagnose the check engine light?

Try checking out this link. It details almost every common reason preventing a startup. Lots of people have been able to get their cars running with the info on here. If you go through the whole list and there's still no start, then there might be a bigger issue at hand. Hope it helps.

If you're getting a solid check engine light and nothing from pin 1 on the DLC it's time to pull the ECU and check to see if it's been damaged by leaking capacitors.

I'd look before I spent much time on anything else.
