My boost EST and Airflow have dropped since the summer months. Boost is off about 5psi at 5500rpm. Max airflow is down 3lbs/min. Car was tuned in 35* weather and ive only played with timing since. Its now about 95* outside. Does the hot and less dense air make that much difference?
Note* my AFR has not changed and is spot on.

Your answer is in your explanation:p.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure that hot air plays that much of a factor. Thats about a 30hp loss. Sucks. Trying to make up for it by messing with the tune and adding timing. Fixed a boost leak and added 4*. 70-90mph is back to what it once was.

Track day next friday and im getting nervous is all. New trans and clutch has been put in and im looking to go from a 13.4 @107 to a 12.5ish @ 110 now that its not gonna take a full second to shift into second gear.

I just got done reading your mods in your profile..I honestly think you could break 12s.

But I have 1 question..You have a 255 and no afpr.So you might be over running the 38psi base fuel pressure.38 psi being the stock 1g 5 speed fpr.

Unless the low pressure 255 does not need an afpr.Which I dont know the answer to.

Aslo I want to add.You could do what i did.Took my windsheild washer pump and the washer nozzles.Mounted them to spray my ic with water and alchohol.I have to manually pull the switch to spray it, but any little bit of cooling helps.

Its not a High pressure 255. I bought the low pressure for that reason. Fuel is on the money and my maf is near zeroed out.:thumb:

There is a guy on here that ran 12.4 at 110 on a tdo5h 20g. Same mods as mine minus cams. Looking at 1/4 mile times on here i know it can be done with ease. I just had a bad trans and could shift causing bad 1/8 times. My back 1/8th time matches this other guys time, so im feeling good.
