hi i have a 2g gst a/t
im havving the drive shaft on passenger side issues with the car and i was wondering if its possible to have the shafts come out by liffting the whole motor and tranny out as one and remove the shaft ends that are attached to the a/t
I think this would be in a way easyer and a bit harder :\
also i was wondering if anyone has used the rebuild kit thru nappa auto
(dose it come with 100% of everything id need to rebuild my tranny ?? -the tools)

im about fed up with my car i love it to death and dreamed about owning one wen i was little and i would hate to have this car go (if intrested pm me :p)WTF

Also if thers anyone in the tri-state reagon who lives near chambersburg g-burg or shipinsburg come HEALP MEEEEEE (we have every tool you could only dream of if needed to help get the motor/tranny out )
my father isnt big on the imports to realy help me out but he is a very experianced mecanic and just dosnt want to deal with it

if i had the money id have a tranny shop fix it but im jobless so yea :\

You mean the cv shaft on the passeger side..I'm guessing front..You should be able to remove the driveshaft by unbolting the nut, and dropping the hub assembly..Then the axle should come out..

What rebuild kit are you taking about?

tryd all of that LOL
its a a/t rebuild kit thru nappa,
i called mitsu for the tranny numbers thru the vin number

im saying that we cant get the pasnger side shaft out for the transmission its very weged in ther :\

Use a big pry bar and keep turning the shaft it will eventually pop loose from the transmission. Getting it to come loose from the hub assembly can be more difficult. Usually it just comes out but sometimes it will rust in in which case you need to pull the entire knuckle to get the shaft out. From there you can either take it to a machine shop to have it pressed out. Sometimes this will destroy the hub though.

You've been given good advice on IPT for their rebuild kit. You could also look at foreignmuscle.
